Problems With Summer Gardens – Throwing Spotlight On The Various Problems…

Abhishek Agarwal asked:

We all are fond of learning new ways to build that perfect summer garden which looks better than all our neighbours’. However, one thing that we forget to think about is the things that we need to avoid so that our summer garden looks the best. Learning the possible drawbacks of your summer gardens is sure to yield better results in the longer run and it also allows us to learn from the errors committed by people whom we know than our own bad gardening experience.

One of the few things that we all tend to feel guilty about is that we often end up landscaping for the enjoyment of our neighbours. If you are one of those who spend a lot of time outdoor, this is what I mean. However, you can also be the typical family which spends the time indoors looking outside. This suggests that you should plan and build your summer garden in a place where you can see it than just your neighbours. In simple words, try planting your garden in a place where you can have a look at it whenever you feel like and feel happy about the fruits of your hard work.

The next thing you need to keep in mind is that you have to avoid messing your lawn with too much of things or plants. Your summer garden should be in scale with your lawn. Try to keep your garden proportional and maintain it in such a way that the whole garden looks neat and taken care of rather than a part of it which looks well taken care of while the other looks sad. Also, consider the climate of your area before you begin the process of starting off with your own summer garden.

Another thing to take care of is that you should plan your summer garden carefully. It should never seem as if you do not have a perfect plan for you sweet little summer garden. If you want to achieve the best result then you need to plan and execute your plans in a very proper manner. In case of absence of a strong plan, your summer garden is sure to be a flop. So, if you desire to have best results, spend quality time in planning about the summer garden that you want to achieve.

The next thing which people tend to forget while planning the summer garden is the longevity of the plants that have been chosen to be planted in your summer garden. If you think you will not have the time to maintain these plants, then you should opt for buying plants which do not need much maintenance. While selecting plants, keep in mind the extent to which you can maintain them and take care of them. And do not buy plants just because they look good.

If you take a little effort and time towards appropriately developing your summer gardens as per your needs and tastes, you will be able to maintain a perfect summer garden for a very long time. And, do take out time to look out and take care of your plants.
